Technical Assistance

PPHA will work closely with P&D, DOH, DGHS and other related departments and sectors on effective promotive and preventive strategies as well as early detection. It will technically support them and the District Health Authorities towards improving the performance of their functions; providing quality assurance of vertical programmes; and bringing operational excellence to service delivery.

This will be done through the Division of Policy Planning & Strategy Development.

From the perspective of technical assistance, the objective of the division is to develop an institutionalized mechanism for provision of technical assistance linked to development of in-house technical expertise for strengthening organizational capabilities, operational efficiencies and long-term sustainability
